Senior Advisor

bmikula@go2communications.com

As Senior Advisor, Bernie is responsible for accessing technology trends and aligning them with Go2’s service offerings to assure the highest level of value to their partners and customers.

Prior to joining Go2 Communications, Bernie also served as the CEO for a regional U.S. operation of South African based technology solutions company, Dimension Data. Dimension Data, a $2 billion international organization, appointed Bernie CEO of the U.S. operation after Dimension Data purchased RE/COM, a company he had co-founded. In addition to the everyday responsibilities of guiding the direction of his company, Bernie’s CEO duties included overseeing the merger and integration of other acquired U.S. operations. Bernie was also responsible for creating a seamless synergy between his organization and the other Dimension Data companies around the world. While at Dimension Data, Bernie’s organization achieved all of its’ financial targets and in 2000 he was recognized with the prestigious regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for technology services.

Prior to selling his company to Dimension Data in December 1999, Bernie was a co-founder and active partner in The RE/COM Group. The RE/COM Group was a national Value Added Reseller (VAR) headquartered in Moorestown, NJ. Bernie was very involved with many facets of the business including overall company vision, sales and marketing, and finance. Bernie and his partners received international recognition at RE/COM in 1999, when they pioneered a risky business decision into a successful reality. The strategy was featured as the Cover Story in the August 1999 issue of VARBusiness Magazine. Under Bernie’s leadership, RE/COM was one of the most successful VARs in the country. Prior to the sale of his company he was recognized by Inc 500, VAR 500, Technology 50, Ernst & Young, and was the 1998 National winner of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Small Business Owner of the Year contest.

Before co-founding RE/COM in 1996, Bernie was the founder and President of NEITCO, a regional VAR headquartered in Waltham, Mass. In 1992, Bernie had no industry contacts or experience and he literally bootstrapped the “start-up” out of his house with $15,000. Within three years he grew NEITCO into a multi-million organization conducting business around the country. While overseeing virtually all of the day to day operations, Bernie was able to position NEITCO as the #1 VAR in the country for a top manufacturer and able to forge a highly successful national partnership with AT&T.

Bernie had a successful career as a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch before launching his successful entrepreneurial career. Bernie joined Merrill Lynch upon graduating from Bentley College with a Degree in Finance in 1986.
